Stuart's Railway Photography

Class 20

20303 + 20301 pair up to form the recoded and retimed 6M63 Bridgwater - Crewe flask working, due to depart Bridgwater just before midday there is a much better chance of getting some light on the front of the train, seen here passing Flax Bourton on the 2nd of May 2013

A mix of old and new style DRS decals adorn 20303 + 20309 as they pass Bartletts Bridge near Parson Street with 6M67 Bridgwater - Crewe on the 11th of May 2011

20303 + 37038 pass through Cam and Dursley while working 6M56 Berkeley - Crewe on the 8th of November 2010, with a friendly wave from the driver as he applies a bit of power, lovely stuff!

20308 + 20312 thunder through Eckington in some cracking early morning light on the 30th of April 2013 with 6V73 Crewe - Berkeley flasks

Direct Rail Services duo 20308 + 37606 pass Gossington on the 20th of October 2011 with 6M56 Berkeley - Crewe, the cracking low Autumn light shows off the far from smooth front of the 20, even though the inward morning working was over 2 hours late arriving at Berkeley the return departure was still predictably early with there only being 1 FNA to load

20308 + 20309 roll their way through Ram Hill near Coalpit Heath with a very early running 6M67 Bridgwater - Crewe on the 11th of July 2011, this pair of choppers had become quite regular in the South West during the summer, nice to see this time though that 20308 has taken over as lead loco for Northbound workings

Not the intended shot that I had in mind but due to my lack of knowledge of the area i'm more than happy with the outcome! After being camped at Cockwood Harbour for nearly an hour it became evident that the shadows were going to win the battle so a move was needed, so seen here sounding immense after just pulling away from Dawlish loop and passing Cockwood Crossing are 20309 + 20308 heading 'The Kernow Voyager' 1Z38 Penzance - Gloucester

Even though the hazy sun is well off the front DRS compass pair 20309 + 20308 still make a cracking sight while working 6M67 Bridgwater - Crewe through Flax Bourton on the 20th of April 2011

20311 + 20314 lead 7X09 Old Dalby - Amersham through Frisby On The Reake on the 6th of May 2013 with 20905 + 20901 just visible on the rear of the train, what an absolute pain this working was running nearly 80 minutes early meaning the sun had not come around far enough, for now this will have to do as a record shot

Filthy 20312 + 20308 sit under the loading crane at Berkeley on the 9th of August 2012 in preperation to work 6M56 to Crewe, after the crew had managed to start up 20308 it soon became apparant that there were problems with 20312 which later resulted in 20308 leading the train north nose first

Looking resplendant in their GBRf coat 20901 + 20905 lead 7X09 Old Dalby - Amersham 'S Stock' through Catholme on the 6th of May 2013 with 20314 + 20311 tagged on the rear, by the time this working appeared there must have been over 30 people in the gallery eagerly awaiting its arrival, great end to the day!
