I had had my eye on this shot since a visit to Edinburgh the previous year and i couldn't of hoped for a better outcome than this, 92022 passes through Wandel with 4M63 Mossend - Hams Hall on the 27th of April 2011, the lighting was truly superb and with Dungavel Hill standing in the centre of the picture the scene is complete |

An additional engineers ran on the afternoon of the 26th of June 2013 from Carlisle - Mossend and here the return working 6T04 Mossend - Carlisle is seen at Abington with 92029 in charge of 46 MHA/MTA/MFA style wagons, the sun played ball and also the Freightliner Heavy Haul coal going in the other direction that can be seen in the background wasn't 30 seconds later! |
