5043 approaches Didcot North Junction with 1Z43 Solihull - Bristol Temple Meads 'The Berks and Hants Aquae Sulis' on the 15th of October 2011. Now im not normally a steam fan and generally try to avoid them if im honest! But as i was here for other workings i thought i would include this as it doesn't look to bad once i had done a bit of work to remove the hideous wires that cross this location

6024 makes a fine sight and sound puffing its way through Newton St Loe on the 3rd of March 2012, this leg of the 'Bristolian' railtour was 1Z26 Bristol Temple Meads - London Paddington, my only gripe with this train is the very much out of place MK2 InterCity coach!

31105 gives its train a shove southbound on the West Coast Mainline while working 1Q13 Derby - Old Oak Common, seen here passing Stoke Hammond on the 16th of January 2012

50044 storms back through Brent Knoll on the evening of the 21st of July 2012 after spending the day in the south west, this being the return of a private charity staff charter run for GBRf staff, this leg of the tour was 1Z53 Paignton - Cardiff Central

50044 powers through Undy at the head of 1Z50 Cardiff Central - Paignton on the 21st of July 2012, this was a private charity charter run for GBRf staff but would later in the day pick up passengers at Plymouth for a mini pay as you board tour, a very nice idea indeed!

A more outlandish combination you could not wish for! 50049 leads a mixed ensemble through Undy on the 29th of March 2012 while forming 6F50 Cardiff Canton - Kidderminster, behind 50049 and its striking ploughs are classmate 50135, partially restored 37308, a rather tatty van, two wagons and plain blue 50044 tagged on the back, a rather lucky escape was had by the small gallery here as this had just been overtaken by a Maesteg - Cheltenham servive, a collective sigh of relief was had when the shot was in the bag!

55022 roars its way north through Brent Knoll on the 9th of July 2011 with 1Z34 Paignton - Doncaster 'The Devonian' seen tucked in behind the deltic is WCRC 47804 just for insurance, earlier in the day on the southbound run 47804 was called in to action after problems with 55022 near Tiverton which resulted in the 47 leading for the remainder of the journey to Paignton, thank goodness they sorted the problem out though as this certainly made for a great sight and sound as it passed!
